Our company was established in Lakeland, FL in 1984 by myself, Beth Guskay and my father and partner Ron Hasten. Our insurance agency was founded as a full service agency to provide the best service and products available to our clients. We endeavor to secure only the finest insurance companies focused on providing quality service to their insured.
From the Owners
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Beth Guskay, President and founding partner of Family Insurance Centers, Inc. Ron Hasten, my father, co-founded our agency with me in 1984. Although he remains a great influence in our agency, Ron has since retired. In 2001, my daughter, Amy Myers came into the business.
At times, insurance can be confusing and difficult to understand. Realizing this, we seek to serve our customers and their families in the same way that we would expect our family to be serviced. We are happy and proud to take the time to adequately explain coverage, give advice and counsel, and discuss various insurance options with you, our customer, whether it is personal lines or commercial lines. We believe it is vital that we always remember that our primary concern is “our family serving the insurance needs of your family.”
Our Staff
I offer my clients nearly 30 years of experience and knowledge. My expertise lies in a wide range of all personal line and commercial line products of insurance. I greatly enjoy helping individuals and families navigate through their insurance needs.
My daughter, Amy Myers, has over 10 years experience within our agency. She is available to help clients with all their insurance needs both personal and commercial including financial services. She began offering life and individual health coverage to our clients in 2008.
Cheryl Giles joined our agency in 2002 and brought with her more than 17 years experience in the independent agency field. Although she is very proficient in all insurance lines, Cheryl’s specialty is commercial lines.
In 2007, Mickey Cardozo brought a new market to our agency providing full bilingual service to our Spanish clients. Her knowledge and experience of over 15 years in the personal auto field provides her clients with reliable service and quality products.
Recently, Josh Filmore became our newest agent in the Family Insurance Centers team. Josh comes with many years of customer service experience. He also offers years of experience and knowledge in personal lines insurance including life and health coverage.
